Resolved Question: Do people really vote one way just because they see other people voting that way?

Rudy Giuliani was leading the polls in the big states like Florida, but he was behind in the polls in the early states, Iowa & New Hampshire. Logically, he decided to abandon Iowa & New Hampshire. He just wrote them off. He forfeited those states to his opponents without making any effort to campaign. Rudy spent everything but the kitchen sink in Florida. He was in Florida for weeks before his opponents stopped by there. What happened? After Iowa & New Hampshire voted, Rudy's lead in Florida disappeared! He came in 3rd! McCain & Romney both beat him! In Florida! The momentum McCain had got in the early-going gave him the strength to win Florida. After Rudy Spent everything but the kitchen sink in Florida................... he came in 3rd!
